Pine Rivers RSL Sub-Branch
The Pine Rivers District Returned & Services League Sub-Branch was formed and received its charter on 28th October 1945, approximately 10 weeks after the end of WWII. The first president of the Sub-Branch, Mr Tom Gorringe, a WWII veteran, met with 22 members in the School of Arts Hall at Petrie where the Sub-Branch stayed until 1954.
Our Services are to help and assist with the well-being, compassion, care and commemoration of past and current Defense Force Personnel and their dependents.

Our Citizens Auxiliary members have formed a Hobby Shed that is open to male and female members of the subbranch, auxiliary and community.
Our combined Sub Branch and Auxiliary meetings are held on the 3rd Saturday of each month at 1100hrs. Whenever possible, a sausage sizzle is held following the meeting and the ANZAC Bar is opened for refreshments.
The Hobby Shed produces clocks, glassware, mirrors and lights with some unique Defence inspired designs. They provide the perfect gift for that special occasion for someone who is or has served in the Defence Force or for those who support our veterans. Read More….
Membership of our auxiliary is open to all members of the community who support our veterans. The role of the auxiliary is to assist the Sub Branch through fundraising and organizing social events for members.
